The participants to the Festival “Il Gerione” can combine the experience of the educational theatre with a fascinating trip, because Campagna is a place of strong artistic-cultural attraction.
The Festival presents theatre performances and workshops produced by various Educational Theater Agencies: Schools, Associations, Oratories, etc; there are also moments of comparison and cultural exchange on the problems of the Educational Theater.
Performances must be no longer than 45 minutes and the application form is available on www.ilgerione.net page and links are below. Application must be submitted by 10 April 2024.
AMAFEST 24

AMAFEST is an international amateur theatre festival of all theatre genres, for actors age 18 and up.
The 6th annual festival focuses on classical and current themes and areas of interest.
AMAFEST 24 will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, from 30 May – 2 June 2024.

The International Youth Theatre Meeting SAPPERLOT is one thing above all: a feast. Groups from all over the world are invited to join us in celebrating youth theatre. We are happy when the International Meeting of Youth Theatre SAPPERLOT manages to overcome linguistic, cultural and other borders and communicate through the language of theatre, that we learn new things and question what we have learned in the past, get new inspiration and above all make friends. We invite groups from all over the world who are open to reflecting on their own work and on other forms of theatre.

10th Mont-Laurier International Theatre, Canada

It is now time to submit your project for the 10th edition of the Mont-Laurier International Theater Festival which will take place from September 5 to 11, 2024 !
The entire Double Défi team is enthusiastic about receiving your applications and preparing another exceptional edition of the incomparable Mont-Laurier International Theater Festival !
The accommodation is mixed with 4 people per room.

12th International "Abtenau is Stage"
12 - 15 September 2024
Abtenau, Austria
This festival is jointly organised by AITA/AITA Associate Salzburger Amateur Theatre and Theatre Abtenau and is supported by Austrian Amateurtheatre Association.
The theme of the festival is Premier Performances and the organisers invited new stage creations, to write plays or to rethink old literature and present it in new theatre forms.
The performances should last between 10 and 70 minutes. Groups of up to ten participants will be hosted for free full day lodging in Abtenau but participants will pay for their travel expenses and any expenses connected with their performance.
Participation in the opening ceremony on Thursday, 12 September is obligatory. The call for applications is now open and the deadline for the receipt of applications is 12 May 2024.

10th APOLLO International Festival for Youth and Independent Theatre

Alba Iulia, Romania
APOLLO festival is organized by Skepsis Group Association (Alba Iulia, RO) on a social partnership, with the support of the Municipality, local institutions, NGO’s and sponsors. The event is EU co-funded within the frame of LOCUS – Local Cultural Urban Synergies project.
The aim is to promote youth and independent theatre companies and to promote Alba Iulia as a citadel of art and a landmark in the international youth cultural events. Theatre groups (age range 18 to 39 years) perform and the festival unites professional and non-professional theatre groups and companies, private companies and freelance artists.
Its goal is to build bridges between artists, to open and develop collaboration relationships and to share experience.
