The Musik Theater Festival is taking place in Hallein for the fourth time, this year involving international participation.

The festival is dedicated to all areas of the performing arts that explore the various combinations of drama, music, dance, and song. As part of this year’s festival, we are excited to entertain our audience – as hosts of the International Theater Days – with a wide range of performances!

Information about the performances:

• Performances should last between 15 and 60 minutes.
• Any type of performance – with or without dialogue, incorporating dance, movement, music, or other forms of expression – is welcome, as are musical improvisations. There are no limits to your creativity!
• We have a well-equipped stage, but we are also open to other formats, such as open-air theater.

The International Theater Days kick off on Friday, 9 October with a “Meet & Greet” , where all participating groups are warmly invited to briefly introduce themselves and getting to know each other.

On Saturday, 10 October, at 7 p.m., the festival party will take place as an “Open Mic Night” , where anyone who feels inspired can grab the microphone and perform on stage.

Participating groups will receive full board in Hallein for up to 8 people for the duration of the festival.
