CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

  The Meknes International Theatre Festival announces the opening of applications for its 5th edition, to be held from 8 to 13 December 2026 at the Mohammed ELMENOUNI Theatre in Meknes.

Under the theme “Meknes, Stage of the World’s Theatre”, this new edition aims to bring together theatrical creations from diverse cultural backgrounds in order to promote artistic dialogue, intercultural exchange, and encounters among performing arts professionals.

National and international theatre companies are invited to submit their application dossiers.

Application Procedure:

Interested companies must send their complete application dossier to the following email address:

The dossier must include the following mandatory documents:

• An official letter of application addressed to: Mr. Bouselham DIIF Festival “Meknes, Stage of the World’s Theatre” Mohammed ELMENOUNI Theatre Meknes – Morocco
• The letter must be signed and sent as a scanned copy.
• A detailed technical rider of the performance
• A full list of participants
• A summary (synopsis) of the performance
• High-quality photos of the performanc

Participation Conditions:

• The number of members per company must not exceed 7 persons.
• Accompanying persons who are not part of the official artistic delegation must cover their accommodation and meal expenses (3 meals included), estimated at 55 euros per day.
• The festival will provide official participants with reception and local assistance starting from their arrival at Fez or Rabat airport.
