The Next AITA/IATA World Festival for Children and Youth
Applications are now open for groups to perform at this festival in 2026. The festival motto is Louder Together.
Each participating group can be made up of participants aged 8 – 20 years and may include up to to 12 children accompanied by up to 2 adults. A key requirement is that all groups must arrive in Antwerp by 21 August and stay for entire duration of the festival.
There are three elements to this event:
- The Call for Proposals to take part in the World Children’s and Youth Performing Arts Festival see HERE
- The Call for Proposals to take part or contribute to the International Teaching Artist Conference (ITAC8) see HERE
- The Call for Proposals for the ‘Congrestival Louder Together’ to take part in both the Festival and the Conference (ITAC8) see HERE

The programme of the Festival and tickets for the performances and for the ITAC8 conferenc are now available on the website of the festival.
The deadline for the receipt of applications was 31 October 2025.

42nd General Assembly 22 August 2026, Antwerp, Belgium
Registration to the Congress and the link to register to vote at the GA will be sent to AITA/IATA members during the third week of May 2026. Members will receive an invitation (containing all important information and relevant links) via email.
