Book an AITA/IATA Councillor

Would you like to strengthen the international dimension of your organisation’s activities? Through the “Book an AITA/IATA Councillor” initiative, AITA/IATA member organisations can invite an AITA/IATA Councillor to participate in their General Assembly, meeting, or other important gatherings.

Councillors can attend primarily online, making it easy and cost-effective to connect with the international amateur theatre community. A Councillor may be invited to attend in person, subject to the Councillor’s availability and the invitation covering the costs of accommodation and meals, as well as under conditions of relatively low travel costs (e.g., in the case of a trip very close to the Councillor’s home country).

During their participation, Councillors can:

  • Present live and online projects and opportunities AITA/IATA or its members offer: information about international festivals, exchanges, training programmes, and networking opportunities.
  • Answer questions about international cooperation and membership benefits.
  • Strengthen links between your organisation and the global amateur theatre network.

Each councillor’s profile includes the country where they live and the languages they speak. If you would like to invite a councillor to your General Assembly or arrange an online meeting, please contact secretariat@aitaita.net with your preferred date, language requirements, and topic of interest.
