6th Lalabala International Theatre Festival

Organisers are happy to announce the Lalabala International Theatre Festival 2026 – Season 6, hosted by Imperial World School, to be held from 2 to 6 November 2026.
This festival is a perfect place for artists from different parts of the world to unwind their talents in an unfettered manner to their optimal degree of performance. Festival will be a blend of performances, seminars and workshops.
The 5-day-long festival will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Participants from Australia, Iran, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Indonesia, Poland, France, the UK, Thailand, and Brazil came together to perform across our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th editions, all of which were a great success.
The organisers are looking for entries from groups to participate and would appreciate your organization’s participation in this festival. They request you to send them the Application Form with details about your group and performance via e-mail or feel free to contact them at
Local accommodation and food will be provided free of cost at hotels, youth hostels and host families for 7 participants.
There are no registration charges.
Air/Rail fares will be borne by the participants or their institutions. Sightseeing will be organized for all international teams.
Play production most be for children or performed by children, We prefer its duration to be a minimum of 40 minutes and a maximum of 60 minutes. Our target audience is children of different ages. If you have any queries, please feel free to communicate with organisers.
