We are saddened to learn of the passing of Jacques Lemaire.

After serving as President of the French National Center (FNCTA) from 1990 to 1996, Jacques Lemaire was elected President of AITA/IATA in 1997. He held this position until 2005, after which he was appointed Honorary President of AITA/IATA.

A man of conviction, he worked to modernize the statutes of our association and was committed to strengthening AITA/IATA’s relationships with the countries of South America and Latin America, as well as with our Japanese friends.

To his wife, Marie Judith, whose kindness and discretion were appreciated by so many of us, we extend our deepest condolences.
