Through the launch of a dedicated newsletter and the expansion of our social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, we will deliver consistent, high-quality global content that connects and inspires our international community.
Our dedication to artistic and educational advancement will be reflected in the ongoing professionalisation of masterclasses, the broadening of our “Curtain Up!” programming, and a strengthened commitment to youth engagement, and providing more opportunities for our members to collaborate and network. We recognize the importance of safeguarding all participants by implementing clear policies and accountability measures to address harassment, visa issues, and ensuring that every member feels safe and supported in their participation.
To further empower festivals worldwide, we aim to simplify our festival handbook and provide support that encourages new hosts and innovative programming without imposing rigid controls. Our approach will be grounded in trust and flexibility, enabling local creativity to flourish while upholding global standards. Financial stability will be a cornerstone of our vision, achieved through stricter controls, transparent management, and the exploration of branding and partnership fees for festivals that proudly carry the AITA/IATA name.
